Liverpool CDP provides a leadership role for the private sector in the commercial heart of the city. Members are expected to have identified how they are able to assist in delivering the Partnership’s vision, aim and objectives.
Intrinsic to membership is a commitment to take ownership of issues within the scope of each stakeholder’s activities, whether it is in the quality of design of a new development, caring for the immediate vicinity of a building or the level of customer service provision. This also involves taking a more holistic view on issues that may seem costly in the short term but will benefit the area in the long term. In return each member has a right to expect a reciprocal level of commitment from Liverpool CDP and individual partners.
Liverpool CDP has made a conscious decision to avoid becoming another talking shop or a duplicate of existing agencies and organisations. This will be maintained through continuous review and updating of the work of each of the four respective Working Groups’ Action Plans.
The Board and the Stakeholders’ Forum both have a role in ensuring this momentum is maintained and focussed on delivering the vision, aims and objectives. Likewise, it is the responsibility of members to maintain their focus in their dealings with the Partnership and at its various meetings.
