From 7pm for drinks receptionTo help raise funds for the Rhys Jones Memorial Fund, a Sporting Heroes Event will be held at Aintree Racecourse.
The event will be attended by a whole host of Merseyside’s sporting greats including Leighton Baines, Graeme Sharp, Joe Royle and Phil Thompson.
The event will also celebrate the achievements of Liverpool’s Olympic stars past and present. David Price, the bronze medalist Super Heavyweight boxer will be a special guest as will two-time World Champion gymnast Beth Tweddle MBE and Steve Smith, bronze medalist at the Atlanta games in 1996.
The Sporting Heroes event is being held at Aintree Racecourse on Saturday 20 May.Tickets are priced at £1000 per table (seats 10) or £100 per individual ticket.
